Jim lived in Madrid 45 years ago, for about 6 or 8
months. It was a life changing experience. This time it was an
experience shared by Jim and Kim. We had the opportunity to
see the world through different
eyes. Outdoor eating, individual restaurants and shops, plazas,
fountains and so much more, leaves you with a small town feel and
charm even in the largest cities.
Arriving at Madrid's airport is the first eye opener. This is
the most amazing airport I have ever seen. Winner of UK's premier
architectural award, it is as attractive as it is efficient.
