The beginning of the adventure. 2004

This blog is tracing the 16 (and continuing) years of a seemingly fairy-tale adventure and romance. A "love-at-first-sight" meeting at the end of March, 2004, led to a first date about a week later. The level of compatibility we found, is still amazing to us. Couples that spend many years together can often surprisingly make the exact same comments at the same time. We were surprised to have this happening within the first month after we met. 

We live together 24 hours a day and only a few times in all these years were we apart overnight. We have traveled the US, South America, and Europe extensively, enjoying adventures along the way. 

Now in the unfortunate pandemic, we are at ease staying at home together and creating mini-adventures; visiting local parks (nearly vacant), enjoying the wildlife and doing home improvement projects. Of course, creating videos from our many 1,000's of photos is a fun project. We are at ease waiting and planning for travel, when the world returns to normal.
